Teaser trailers are short in length, teaser trailers also contain little film footage and often released long before the film it is advertsing. Some teaser trailers are just shortened theatrical trailers. Teaser trailers are more commonly released alongside a big-budget film. Theatrical trailers are much longer in length and are often composed when the film is finished.

Conventions of a Trailer
The film trailer for Rush hour 2 follows the conventions of most film trailers with a voiceover which is used to introduce the main two characters. There are many different songs used in order to complement the action scenes of the trailer. The trailer opens with a sequence of short clips these are used to show roughly where the film is set. The voiceover stops towards the end and titles are used to introduce the main actors and the overall film title. The traileris also loaded with a mix of the fighting scenes where the film is set. Overall the film trailer contains a lot of the films best moments yet it still encourages people to watch it as you dont know the whole story

This is the start of my new project for the upcoming year where i will have to produce a film trailer as well as a magazine cover and poster, also i will need to do adequate research and planning as well as a good evaluation to finish with.
