2nd Magazine cover

Evaluation of 1st school magazine

How does your media product represent particular social groups?

What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

Who would be the audience for your media product?

How did you attract/address your audience?

The bright colours and textual headline stories are relevant and likely appeal to sixth form students. Also the font is in a smart organised, straight writing not like the type of writing you would expect to see on magazines for younger children. The colour scheme is green and white as green is colour used to represent chosen hill and black is the colour of the sixth form uniform.  Also like the features on the front cover are likely to be linked only to issues concerning sixth form students at Chosen Hill School.

The target audience for the magazine is sixth form students at Chosen hill school, the magazine represents a smart front cover suggesting the magazine is more for intellectual stdents not for students who just mess around. I decided not to bother with a barcode on my magazine overall, despite in my preliminary designs I thought i would include a barcode but then i realised that if i was only producing a magazine for chosen hill sixth form there was no point in putting a price and a barcode on it as the magazine will only be relevant to Chosen Hill students so therefore no other schools will want a copy of my magazine.

I arrived at the target market because i am in sixth form myself and i have noticed a distinct lack of magazines made for us, and all magazines we do have, have very little relevance to Chosen hill itself.
